"What would Phil do?" Beat cancer, that's what.
We all want and need to support Phil as he has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. What can you say about Phil? If you know him, you are thinking right now about all the funny things he has said and done. Oh the jokes, the sarcasm and the never ending wit.
But now, it's not funny...it's cancer and we all need to rally together and help him out in this time of need. We are raising money to help pay for medical fees, as he had no insurance, but mostly funds for everyday living. He needs to concentrate on his health and not worry about bills and things like that.
As runners, as friends please donate from the heart. Now, "What would YOU do?"
Update: As most of you know, I’m Sharon White, one of Phi’s friends. I live here in Lenoir City, TN. I am very thankful to Phil’s friends and the running community to come to Phil’s side raising money to help him with this terrible disease.
We have taken Phil into our home to make him comfortable and to keep him laughing. The funds we have collected will be used to pay his bills as he will no longer work and to keep him as comfortable as possible. We want to thank everyone for their generosity. Phil is very touched!
