Marley needs help

Marley is a rescue dog who was saved from being pts, due to his distrust of strangers after an incident as a pup where he was beat up by home intruders he couldn’t be rehomed so has been taken on as my forever dog. He became seriously ill around 6 weeks ago and was treated by the pdsa out of hours team at vets now as a suspected adder biteamd secondary infection of cellulitis. However his illness has reappeared. He was taken back to the pdsa where they suggested something more sinister was going on however have refused to investigate. I am now looking at other vets to have investigations done on his leg which is extremely swollen and painful at the elbow area. Due to my mental health and volunteer roles within rescue I am unable to work and am struggling to find his additional vet care. However will do whatever it takes to make sure he receives the treatment he should be. As cancer is suspected the costs may run extremely high and I am pleading with people who know Marley’s story or those who don’t to please help me help him. He is only 4 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. He has been saved from imminent death once and I would like to give him the life he has almost lost twice now. At this point we have no idea how much his vet costs will run into and I would normally never ask for handouts but I won’t allow him to be let down by the people who are supposed to look after him when it is beyond my control so we are seeking private veterinary care.
