Wettest Classroom 2019

Donation protected
The Wettest Classroom on Earth is another inclusion focused Extreme Classrooms project. This particular venture gives young children on the autistic spectrum, an opportunity to learn and achieve skills outside and beyond their classroom and their daily life. Its success involves collaboration with older students as mentors and supporters. I/we are fourteen of the 6th Form students from North Birmingham Academy who are taking part! Already having supported as mentors to young autistic students - on the selection camp in Snowdonia including a variety of outdoor activities, we are now working to support the young students to achieve a sail around Britain. We are hardworking and compassionate students who on June 29th 2019, will be undertaking the toughest leg of the sail – Hartlepool to Peterhead. It is the most splendid learning opportunity for us all - this will certainly be one of our most memorable and marvellous experiences of a life-time – especially to help the autistic students achieve ‘Wettest Classroom on Earth’ experience.  For this opportunity to go ahead, as a charitable cause, we are required to raise the funds to be able to support this venture. The cost is approximately £1200 per head so any contribution to this amazing learning experience would be such a support and received with heartfelt gratitude.
