Dear Owls family and friends:

                This quote from Walt Disney is a perfect representation of how this organization was founded and how it will continue to succeed in the future. Family, community, tradition, and dedication are 4 pillars that are instilled in every member of the Owls Sports Club. We would be nowhere without our volunteers, parents, and community members who spend countless hours at Owls Field creating a “field of dreams” like atmosphere. We are asking our community for its help again.

                As many of you may be aware, the Owls Sports Club has decided to undertake one of its most ambitious projects in its 60 year baseball history. We will be enclosing the pavilion beyond the center field fence and turning it into a state-of-the-art baseball facility. This is something that we have discussed at length and think will revolutionize our organization.

In the past, our coaches and players were forced to locate indoor facilities around the county in order to train during the off-season. Our new indoor facility will enable our players to train on-site year round without the hassle of going to an unfamiliar location. In addition, they will receive year round instruction from our outstanding coaching staff who can’t be more excited about this project.

In total, this project will cost our club an estimated $60,000. To help alleviate these costs, we are launching a fundraising effort via GoFundMe.com. By accessing this website, people will be able to donate directly to our club, anonymously if desired. We are a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers, so fundraising like this is the only way that we will be able to recoup this investment.

Please spread the word about this fundraising campaign and help us reach as many people as possible. We have a strong alumni base and we are looking to reconnect with them as well.
