Sound System, Westgate Elementary

We are the Cougars at Westgate Elementary in Edmonds, WA. The Westgate PSO is seeking your help to raise money to replace our aging and often broken 25 year old sound system in the school gym. Our gym is the hub of many activities for our school and community.  We have been given a one-time grant to replace our sound system this summer but must raise a matching $11,000 before we can have it installed.

The school gym is central to what the Westgate Cougars are about. The children learn to become leaders by organizing and presenting at our school assemblies.



The gym is where our children go for fun after school, be it the annual Monster Mash or our school carnival. 


The gym is used by many community groups and our after school program. All would benefit greatly by a new and improved sound system. No more dragging the microphone to the audience to ask questions, only to not be able to hear the answer. No more struggling with cords hoping that the system doesn’t fail during our Veterans Day assembly.
