WeStandWithEaston - Leukemia Sucks!

Donation protected
This is Easton. He is almost 2 1/2 years old and has already overcome major hurdles in his life. When his mother, Sara, was pregnant with Easton, she and his father Jeremy found out that Easton will be born with Down Syndrome. Although a very difficult thing to hear as a mother, she has embraced this "diagnosis" as just part of her son, and has gone above and beyond as a single mother to overcome the obstacles ahead.

However on March 20, 2019, Easton was diagnosed with Leukemia, which is a cancer of the blood-forming tissues. What seemed to be just a cold or a virus, the consistent fever had his very astute mother, Sara, who is also in the medical field as a Physician Assistant, worried and had him checked by his Pediatrician who then completed a comprehensive check-up.  The blood work showed very concerning low levels of multiple blood counts including anemia that was getting worse. Easton was promptly send over to Phoenix Children's Hospital, in Phoenix Arizona, to be admitted for further tests.

The earth-shattering news of your own child being diagnosed with cancer is a difficult one to bare. Being a woman in the military, Sara has a tremendous amount of strength, perseverance, and dedication within each and every day as Easton has started his fight against cancer with a long road ahead of him. This experience has only strengthened her love for her son.

As Sara and Easton’s family, friends and co-workers, there is a necessity to rally, to hope and to strive for nothing but the best. Easton has already undergone multiple chemotherapy sessions, blood transfusions, countless tests, medications to reduce fever, oxygen-therapy due to low oxygen levels. He is truly and amazingly one strong little boy.

There is only so much insurance will cover and any assistance in helping them is everything.  Sara has spent countless days and nights taking care of Easton along side his wonderful medical team at PCH, but is yet to be able to return to work. Any donations are greatly appreciated with meeting Easton's catastrophic deductible and with any other costs/bills that add-up very quickly during their 1 month stay at the hospital, and most likely a 3 year treatment plan to help fight Easton's Leukemia.

Thank you all so much in advance, and keep the prayers coming as well please.
