Love for Lila

I'm going to level with you all. Life is super hard right now. Christmas is right around the corner and I'm not sure our family will even be able to celebrate at this point, and that is the least of my worries really. 

My daughter Lila is a  little girl whose smile, sweetness and silliness bring light and joy to all those she meets. Lila has a Trisomy 18, a rare genetic disorder that significantly impacts her health and her immune system. Dec 7th Lila was hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for acute respiratory failure, and pnuemonia associated with RSV. Her doctors at this time aren’t willing to estimate how long she will be in the hospital, but they have acknowledged that she could be inpatient throughout Christmas, possibly even longer.


While she is hospitalized I am unable to work to help support our family. Lila is also currently receiving minimal social security payments due to a clerical error that is taking a while to resolve. Expenses are adding up very quickly, between food, travel back and forth between home and the hospital to spend time with Lila's brothers(approximately 100 miles each way) as well as medical expenses and regular bills. 

My family is struggling so I am setting aside my pride, and asking for help. Anything you may be willing to contribute would be greatly appreciated.
