"We just wanna skate & be great"
We desperately need your help AUSTRALIA!
These kids go to school & work hard. They live in remote areas of Australia & during School holidays there is nothing to do. Please help us to change that.
Aboriginal peoples connection with Country is vital & an intrinsic part of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander life.
Skateworks provides generationally appropriate connectivity to Country & culture through art & Skateboarding programs.
We desperately need your help to make that happen this year in Northern Territory & South Australia
Vital funds are needed
This July School holidays Skateworks has a huge push to supply school holiday education combined with Skateboarding programs in the Northern Territory & South Australia. Seven Communities all up between the two states. This program creates a connection for Indigenous youth with, what Elders have expressed as a major issue. "Aboriginal Connection with Country"
Equipment Project #Pushfor280
Skateworks sub-project, Recycledfun which collects used skate gear for our education projects has the mammoth task of collecting 280 used complete Skateboards with helmets and pads. 80 for South Australia & 200 for The Northern Territory. Australia, you have really stepped up and we thank you for this huge support from Australian Skateboarders & their families.
