Music for Health Insurance coverage
So some friends take me home and i'm feeling the effects of the atavin like i'm in a permanant drowsy mellow state .. I go to sleep and sleep off and on from 5:30pm until my alarm goes off at 6:30am .. which means today and its time to go to work.. (which i do)
So currently I don't have any Health Insurance and this whole Emergency Room experience is going to cost a pretty penny and while I loathe seeing Doctors, the reality is that there will always be emerency where seeing doctor is a necessity.
so hence this GO FUND ME - I currently live on a month to month budget with a little bit left over for the ocassional night out on the town or a guitar/music toy..
and because I moved recently I can still sign up for ObamaCare and the best plan for my needs is the SILVER package and with my tax credit it comes to $157.62 a month which would come to $1891.44 a year which is what I am hoping to raise.. The higher asking amount covers the estimated difference of $150 which would be fees taken out by GO FUND ME and WEPAY credit card processing.
i am hoping to get about 136 people i know to donate $15 each and if it is successful i will personally make and mail each of you a mix cd geared specificily for you if I know you.. (not one mix CD that I make for everyone.. that would be too easy and lame)
so here's the Basics:
i want this money to pay for health insurance (the Silver medium package) for myself
and for the minimum donation of $15 i will make you a personalized mix cd for your listening pleasure.
it is a WIN-WIN situation for all.
I love you all for reals.. and I think I'm gonna be ok.. Give something if you can and don't feel bad if you don't.. I totally understand. :)
I am also happy to report my health is back on track and after 2 months of eating healthy and daily meditation, my anxiety moments are few and far between.. and no medication & no panic attacks :)
again thank you so much for your support.
First and foremost : Thank you! thank you for being an a kind and caring human being and I am so grateful to have friends like you in my life.. and not just in regards to the donations but the overwhelming emotional support I have received as well.
It has been a little over two weeks since my Emergency room visit and today I feel that I'm 99% back to my normal healthy self.
In a nut shell- I was dehydrated and feeling very faint from not eating.. and when you're dehydrated your heart rate automatically goes up and when my heart started racing, It basically jump-started me into having a panic attack.
It scared me.. so much that I stayed with a family friend for the next few nights afterwards until I could visit a doctor.
My Doctor visit was a mixed bag.. but it definitely gave me some peace of mind. I am not diabetic and my thyroid is normal. I was given a prescription for Paxil and Xanax . I made decision not to take Paxil at all and the Xanax is a nice safety net to have for any panic attacks that may creep my way in the future.
I have been eating healthy and on a regular schedule. I have also started to meditate and being more mindful (thanks Tiff)
I have a bunch of mix cds to make for you guys :) and have given myself a deadline of April 30th for getting them mailed out.
thank you all again,
p.s. If you have not given me your mailing address yet .. please send me a message on facebook or you can email it to:
I have signed up for Insurance and made my first premium payment unfortunately coverage will not begin until 04/01 . I've had a rough past few days just worrying about what the heck is going on with my body and even had a few mini-panic attacks so just for peace of mind .. I was able to see a doctor yesterday and self-pay, which went 90% really good. I was checked out again and given a prescription to calm me when anxiety or a panic attack creeps up on me again and we discussed that it is highly unlikely that I have type 2 diabetes.. I also had some lab work done and currently waiting on the results of my thyroid and AC1 (a blood sugar test ).
The part that didn't go quite so well is that he also wanted me to start taking Paxil and I did get the prescription filled but when I got home and read about the drug online and talked to a friend.. I don't think i am going to take it.. so I plan to seek a second opinion on that matter.
Today I'm feeling pretty good and I'm still waiting to receive the bill for my ambulance ride and Emergency room visit from Sunday.. so every little bit of dough over my goal is going to help for sure.
if you have not yet.. please email me your snail mail address so I can mail your special mix to you.
p.s. I am looking forward to making all of these mix cds.. it is actually good therapy for me.
all of the kind words and support have helped me so much.. keep being the awesome friends that you are and don't let the stupid bastards in this world get you down!
Hello Sherry Ketterling.. Thank you for your question. This GO FUND ME campaign is from last year and the money was used to pay my Health insurance premiums for one full year.
Can I ask a question? I'm not sure if I'm understanding your request properly. Are you basically asking for donations to pay for your medical insurance for next year?
