During the past seven years of our outreach, Reflections of Grace Outreach Ministries, Inc. (www.reflectionsofgraceoutreachministries.org) have had the opportunity to reach out and provide essential hygiene items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, clean socks, washcloths, deodorant, soap, lotion and shampoo to the homeless and elderly as we give words of encouragement and hope in their current situation.
This is an ongoing effort to spread love and smiles to the people we've met. God bless everyone who have supported us in showing "WE CARE." In 2018, we want to exceed this total and expand our area of focus to other cities and communities; but we need your help.
In 2017; the nation is experiencing an increase in our homeless population and many of them are now veterans, families and individuals with mental illness.
This is not only a federal problem-it’s everybody’s problem.
We desperately need you help in providing more essential items and one day have a shelter for all people who need help. We want to provide food (hot and cold meals), clothing, phone service, counseling, showers, and a bed for the growing homeless individuals. We are 100% committed to ending elderly and homeless neglect in our city and surrounding communities. Economist have said that many american are just a paycheck away from homelessness or hunger; but, we want to establish a process for help and assistance that will last for generations to come.
We are asking, in humility, for whatever you are willing to give to this humanitarian cause.
Many of the homeless did not expect to be in their situation and are more than willing to find a solution to end their cycle of homelessness but they need help. The disabled and persons suffering from mental illness, they need our empathy and support to find the right facility to help. Will you be that support and help?
