The Conservatory at Webster has been training theatre students for the professional world for over half a century. Now it is time for the class of 2017 to take center stage in New York and LA for our premier as graduates of the Conservatory in the Senior Showcase - and we need your help!
The Showcase is an invaluable resource for graduating seniors. Performance majors compile a series of scenes, monologues, and songs to be presented before an audience of casting directors, agents, and alumni in NYC. After graduation, the class heads to the west coast to do a series of auditions and masterclasses in LA before another group of agents and casting directors. ISN’T THIS AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY??
We have the funds provided by the Conservatory to make it to NYC, but we have to find the means ourselves to make it to the golden state. The LA Showcase is an incredible chance for performance majors who wish to pursue a career in film, but it isn’t cheap… Between hotel costs, travel expenses, and getting the right people in the audition room, it costs a pretty penny. Any contribution, $100 or $5 is appreciated! We would be immesurably grateful for any help you can send our way.
