Yasa

Yasa is a 9-year-old girl
from Donetsk (Ukraine) with Crouzon Syndrome, a rare congenital disorder that affects about 1 out of 50,000 children.

She had to face several problems in her life (respiratory, chewing, aesthetic). This disease can be very painful because the bones of the skull are not developed to properly accommodate the brain, which rubs against the bones of the head, creating great pain and suffering. At this moment Yasa's brain is growing but there is no more space in her head, so the only way to find a solution to this pain is through a surgical operation that costs 30,000€.

In Ukraine it's not possible because hospitals are not equipped for such complex operation, so Alexandr and Yana, her parents, will have to go to Germany with Yasa to fight this battle. They will have to face travel costs, accommodation in Germany, as well as the operation itself. They have an appointment the 15th of January 2019 to schedule the operation, that will take place in 2019.

Alexandr was a Donbass entrepreneur, who lost everything because of the war between Russia and Ukraine. With his family he had to move to Cherkasy, near Kiev, and start all over again. Today they are desperate because they do not have the money to help their daughter, the State does not help them, and perhaps only the generosity of people can help Yasa have a happier future.

We would need to find the money before the end of the year 2018.

Anyone who wants to contribute, even with a little help, will make Yasa's future happier and full of hope. She loves to spend time with other kids, as well as practicing karate and dance.

Let's help Yasa!

I'm extremely thankful for your attention and your big heart.
