Hi.
My name is William Dalphin. For the past four years, I've been posting short horror fiction on the internet, primarily on the Nosleep subreddit at reddit.com. I've had my stories shared on numerous websites, narrated on YouTube, the Nosleep Podcast , and on Chilling Tales For Dark Nights .
I've recently been contacted regarding the publishing of my material in book form, and after some discussion, I agreed. Chilling Tales For Dark Nights wants to use my story, "A Game of Flashlight Tag" in something big, and it'd be a perfect opportunity for me to share my stories with a larger audience by releasing a book. However, it wouldn't do to just drop an e-Book on Amazon. That's not my style. We've had talks with several possible illustrators in regards to illustrating the stories to add to the overall atmosphere. And we've found an amazing talent in Emily Holt.
That's where goFundMe comes in. The money I'm looking to raise will go toward:
· Cover art and illustrations
· Compensation for the audiobook
· Book formatting/editing
· Purchase of ISBNs and bar codes
· Website set up and overhead
· Initial print run
Depending on the number and quality of illustrations, as well as other variables, this amount may end up being more or slightly less than I've projected.
I would be incredibly grateful for any contributions. This is not something that I can fund myself, and with the holiday season fast approaching, I don't expect an overwhelming response, but again-- every little bit helps. I guarantee you, the illustrations will help make the book fantastic. And the person we've got for doing the audio book is incredibly talented.
Even if you don't help monetarily, I would be greatly appreciative if you would spread the word.
