Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have big news on the Nitespa story. I can't believe that a dream I had in 2005 to open a groovy little spa and create a new kind of beauty and wellness destination has grown so much and survived and thrived in so many ways. First of all, I want to thank you all for your support over the last decade. I know being friends with a passionate entrepreneur isn't always easy.
Ten years ago, Nitespa opened it's doors on Abbot Kinney in the height of the boulevard's hip Venice beach local vibe. Last year, like most other 'ma and pa' shops, nitespa's building was sold and we were forced to relocate. Nitespa moved to the up-and-coming Mar Vista neighborhood.
On the heels of our ten year anniversary, and as I was about to announce a big party celebrating a decade of our unique brand of beauty and wellness, I found out that our building in Mar Vista was sold. I was going to have to re-imagine nitespa's destiny once again.
I am so excited to announce that Nitespa has the opportunity to move back to Venice Beach and re-launch on Rose Avenue in an awesome soon-to-be-announced space. We will be able to create a wellness center for the whole community with a team of beauty and holistic health experts.
With all the stories of everyone getting kicked out of Venice, isn't this is a refreshing change? An old school Abbot Kinney beauty hideout is invited back to the 'hood.
I just need a little bit of help from my friends to make this dream a reality.
Moving is difficult, especially so soon after our last relocation. Though Nitespa loved residing in a fancy loft in Mar Vista, I've come to realize that we really do need foot traffic and collaboration in order to succeed.
Your donations will help with:
*Labor for the move, including a handyman to remove and reinstall our sign.
*New printed materials, such as business cards & flyers
*Change of address for licensing and permits
*Paint, a little bit of remodelling, more handyman stuff
* A few necessary equipment and linen upgrades
*Products for facials and spa treatments
*A new appointment system with online booking
Wouldn't this make a lovely headline for a change?
