Hannah’s fight Against BRAIN ON FIRE

Donation protected
This is our niece, sister, cousin ,friend and most importantly , daughter... sweet Hannah.
5 weeks ago Hannah experienced some simple memory loss. She is now hospitalized. After what seems like every test and scan out there Hannah has been diagnosed with anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis! It is an extremely rare and debilitating auto immune disease. It attacks the brain and mimics a psychiatric illness. It is not! It is neurological!
Hannah remains hospitalized at Loyola medical center in Maywood near Chicago. Her mom, Colleen and dad, Dean have both taken a leave of absence from their jobs to advocate and care for her. Her boyfriend Tim, who she affectionately refers to as “ her person” has also been her constant rock. The task is huge! She requires  round the clock attention and support.
Hannah has a team of doctors that are collaborating with others around the country.
We are hopeful and are expecting nothing less than a full recovery!
The road is LONG! Hannah is in the fight of her young precious life. We will be forever grateful if you would share this page with everyone you know. Not only are we trying to raise money for Hannah and her family to cover expenses, we are trying to raise awareness to this rare, crippling and often mis-diagnosed disease.
Thank you in advance for your love and kindness in this extreme situation.
please contact Cheryl Carew Martin with any other support ideas. Please know that no idea or donation is too small.
