Warren Midcap (Leah)

We have started this fundraiser on behalf of our friend and co-worker, Warren Midcap.  Warren is a beloved, master Optician or "Mr. Eye Glass Fixer" at Novus Clinic Total Eye Care.  He is a dependable, hard worker who has spent that last 54 years in service to his fellow man by improving their quality of life through visioncare. He is a legend in the eye care industry.  Warren has hundreds of faithful followers, not only for his optical skill, but his authentic kindness, sense of humor, infectious smile and passion for people.  To know Warren is to love him.

In early December, Warren's world would forever change as he was delivered the news that his adoring wife, Leah, of 57 years has stage four pancreatic cancer.  Hospice care has begun.

Leah Midcap has been a ray of sunshine in the lives of all she has met. Especially, her family.   She knows no stranger and is unforgettable with her ability to spread joy and her sassy fashion sense.  Leah and Warren have two children, Michael & Michelle as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

Previous to this diagnosis, Leah has endured multiple surgeries for her knee and pacemaker.  There are significant medical expenses not only from those surgeries, but new expenses are also occurring daily with hospice, at home nursing care and impending funeral expenses.

Warren would never ask for any help.  He would always do his part.  We are asking that you please support Warren so he does not have the burden of the medical expenses, funeral expenses and living expenses along with the devastating loss of his bride.  

The world is a better place because of Warren.  Not surprisingly, Leah's only wish is that we help take care of her Warren.  Help us give back to him as he has given to so many.
