Our name is Pandora’s Vox, and we’re one of Canada’s top women’s vocal ensembles. Under the direction of Artistic Director Gillian Hunt, winner of the Amy Ferguson Award from the BC Choral Federation, we’re continually applauded as a unique and highly entertaining performance group. With an eclectic and creative style, THE VOX is a group of 20 talented women who sing with a surprising range of repertoire. Our beautifully staged concerts are invariably sold out and receive rave reviews.
We also reach out to the community to support many causes; some notables are the Dr. Peter Aids Foundation, the Emily Murphy House (a women’s drop-in resource centre), and the Animal Advocates Society.
If you believe in chime travel, we could use your help! We’ve performed through the Pacific Northwest but we’re now traveling overseas to perform in Spain and Portugal in July 2019 to celebrate our 30th performance year.
We’re paying our own way to get there, but since we’re a non-profit organization, we need help to ship our technical equipment to Europe, such as our Roland keyboard, tone chimes and percussion equipment (we wish we were piccolo players, but we’re not!). Our goal is $5,000.
We don’t want any lost chords, so we want to get you all keyed up!
Upscale: $100 will help to ship a whole octave of our beloved Roland keyboard
Be a key-ner: $50 will help to get us drummin’
Half tone: Or how about $20 which will help to get our chimes toned
