Wanda J. Wakeman - 64 years old - of LaPorte, IN will be a 5 year BREAST CANCER survivor next month.
This past week she was diagnosed with inoperable LUNG CANCER.
She also had shoulder surgery last month prior to knowing about the lung cancer and is still recovering from the surgery.
Wanda started chemo on June 10th. The cancer in her lungs has metastasized . Even with chemo and radiation it will not be operable.
Wanda has been an dedicated and respected RN for over 43 years. She was head nurse at LaPorte Hospital in Pediatrics for many years. Her husband Dale, and other family members are asking for any help you can give at this difficult time. She has medical bills and is in much need of a new bathroom in her single bathroom home. It is in need of repair and needs to be adequate for her needs.
