Walkabout Farm Therapeutic Riding Association Inc. offers therapeutic riding, non-riding and horsemanship programs for youth and adults in need, by way of an individualized riding program, volunteerism or work placement. As a not for profit charitable organization, we are rely on financial contributions to develop and sustain a foundation for a specialized community service needed at little or no cost to its participants. In 2020 our focus has shifted to accessibility projects. Our plans include paved pathways, erecting the quonset hut and expanding on the comfort station to include a wheelchair accessible platform. We are appealing to local businesses to help us in any way possible. This could include in-kind donations, charitable donations, machine rentals, lumber and labour.
