Walk Missions South Africa Trip - Aaron Howard

The Lord is opening doors for WALK all around the globe! We have been invited to South Africa in October, 2019 for two amazing projects! First,
we will be headed to Olwasini, Kwa-Zulu Natal to serve a ministry called 7 Rivers Outreach.  Connected to Grace Baptist Church of Amanzimtoti, 7 Rivers has begun "Grace Generation 2," a church-planting movement among the Zulu fueled by an accredited seminary where professors teach in the context of ministry, not just in a classroom. Thus far, GG2 combines the efforts of three missions agencies, seven missionary families, and a Zulu church planter.  Church-plants have already begun in Olwasini, Ekukahanyeni, and Kingsburgh West, with new projects planned in Umlazi and Kwa Makutha.

"Grace Generation 2," planted their first Zulu church three years ago in Olwasini at the 7 Rivers Farm, and have huge goals for the future. These plans include 7 Rivers Children’s Village (Christian-led foster homes for homeless children), 7 Rivers Bible Institute, 7 Rivers Primary School and 7 Rivers Secondary School, as well as providing meeting space to continue Community Health Evangelism.

We will be shooting several video projects for 7 Rivers Outreach including  promotional videos, a documentary, and missionary training material. We will also emphasize how social media and videos shot on the field by the missionaries can help increase their reach on social media and help continue to provide support for their ministry. 

Second, we will be in Johannesburg to speak at a missions conference at Sandton Bible Church where we will teach pastors and missionaries from all across the country how to use their phones and social media to spread the Gospel more effectively. One way will be filming their testimony in less than two  minutes on their phones and posting it to social media.  What an awesome opportunity!

In order for this trip to happen, we need your support through prayer and giving.  The cost for this trip is about $5,000 per person which covers airfare, some equipment costs and room and board for 18 days. $5,000 may seem expensive but to hire a company here in the US to do these same projects would easily cost over $30,000.
