Please help Prince and his siblings

On the afternoon of Friday, September 25th Wags and Walks received a call from our partners at the South LA shelter.  They had a litter of puppies at their facility and one puppy was extremely sick.  Without a rescue partner, they were going to have to put the puppy to sleep.   Wags and Walks stepped in and rescued this sweet boy.  All we knew at the time was that he tested negative for parvo and his littermates seemed fine. 

When Prince arrived he was weak, extremely thin and he was not eating.  Wags and Walks took him to the vet to determine what was wrong and he was immediately hospitalized so the vet could run bloodwork, give IV fluids and monitor him around the clock.  Quickly the vet discovered Prince was anemic, but still cound not determine what else was making him so sick.

Prince has been tested for parvo twice with negative results, but the vet still wants to treat him like he has parvo to give Prince the best chance possible.

Since rescuing Prince, we found out that his littermates were starting to exhibit the same symptoms and we have now rescued all 6 puppies.  In addition to Prince, Stevie Nicks, Gwen Stefani, Janis Joplin, Billie Joe and Mick Jagger are all now receiving medical attention and the care they will need to make a full recovery and live long happy lives.
