Wagon South Trip

My name is Scott Schlepp.  In August of 2018 I am planning on driving a team of horses from Rolla, ND down to Brownsville, TX.  This is approximately a 2000 mile trip which will be a five month program.  I’m figuring that the cost of this venture will be around $200,000.00; 10% goes to the American Cancer Society, 5% to the Germans from Russia Tri-County Tourism Alliance, with the remainder going to the funding of the project for transportation, feed, meals, etc.

Prairie Public TV knows about this endeavor and wants me to give rides to children in grades 2 thru 4 as I am passing through the small towns, so they will remember this historical event.  North Dakota and South Dakota Historical Society’s have been informed about this endeavor and are making plans for recording and registering it. Your donation will also be recorded; you or your business will be recognized in the historical society in the state which you are from.
