For those unfamiliar with us, Elite fitness club devoted to enriching the lives of women through nutrition, exercise, and building a healthy lifestyle. We just celebrated our 5th Anniversary in Wareham Crossing and are looking forward to bringing our presence outside our gym walls.
The women at elements have started the New Year with a very big resolution. At the end of 2015 we learned of El Pozo De Vida, an organization devoted to rescuing women and children from human trafficking in Mexico City. They are invested in the rehabilitation of these women and children, as well as educating others on the perils of human trafficking, and working toward an end to this global problem. After hearing the stories of these women who have been rescued and their fight to lead the lives they deserve, our hearts have been turned toward this just cause.
In May, the women of elite are going on a Mission Trip to Mexico City to serve with El Pozo De Vida. While in Mexico City we will not only be bringing supplies to the survivors, but will be helping to teach them fundamental life skills they have never known. We will be bringing personal trainers to teach them the basics of exercise, a cook to teach them how to make nutritious meals from fresh ingredients, and will be giving them a well-deserved day off, allowing them to see parts of their own country they couldn't afford to normally. We will also be giving them sneakers, clothes, water bottles, and money to help improve their overall quality of life.
Here's where you come in: We need to raise $10,000 in 3 months in order to give these girls what they need (and what they deserve)! We will be hosting a series of fundraisers over the next few months in order to do so. Your generosity is what is going to make this mission trip possible. We ask, if you are able, to contribute monetary donations and lots of positive thoughts for this mission, El Pozo De Vida, and the many people they serve.
100% of the proceeds will be going directly to the girls or to needed supplies for them and this trip. These girls have survived unimaginable wrongs and are coming out stronger for it. Please help us in our endeavor to bring some smiles and happiness into their lives.
