Coraopolis K9 Amor/Training & Equip

Donation protected
Selecting a K9 for police work is equivalent to the process used by the Seals, Rangers or Pararescue. Only a small percentage that tryout have the physical & mental abilities to make the cut. The K9's initial training process is used to weed out those candidates. It was during this process that it was discovered that K9 Ajax was not the best prospect for the Boro of Coraopolis. Although he excelled in tracking and drug detection, he did not enjoy the bitework. Since these dogs are guaranteed to work, a new German Shepard named Amor was brought in from Holland. In the few short weeks he has been here, Amor has shown great promise. He has bonded nicely with Officer Quinn and is a beautiful dog with unique markings. He should make a great addition to the department. Remember, this entire endeavor has been made possible by the generousity of donors from the Boro, fundraisers and this site. We are not done yet! Please help us pay for the extensive training and provide the equipment this K9 needs and deserves.
