WA Soccer Community Mental Health Support

Donation protected
Dear all,

As most of you know we at Wembley lost a member of our community in 2017 and last year at least 3 members of the soccer community took their own life.

With this in mind and with the full support of Bryan Raeburn at Area 5 in Vic Park we have arranged a 24hr footballathon to raise funds when needed throughout this year to support those affected by mental health issues. All money will be looked after through the Wembley accounts looked after by Adrian Mark Yeomans.

It will run from midday on the 2nd March (Saturday)til midday on the 3rd with 24 lots of 1 hour matches donating $20 per player to take part. Our aim is to raise awareness through soccer as well as to bring the soccer community together. You could be rostered to play at anytime with a draw to take place 3 weeks beforehand for timings.

To nominate you need to first call out an opponent you would like to play, then pm myself to tell me your match up. Any questions, ask away and feel free to share with supporters clubs etc to make some real rivalrys we can put together and support our community.

Cheers
