Send blacklisted prof to Paris!

I'm Dr. Kevin Barrett, and I want you to help send me to Paris.
Here's the deal: While teaching Islamic Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I was targeted by politicians for a national media witch-hunt in 2006. Since then, I have been blacklisted from teaching in the US. I make a living, such as it is, by growing my own food, cutting my own firewood, and doing some freelance writing and broadcasting.
But thanks to generous people like you, I have been able to travel to give talks and attend conferences, even though I no longer have a university job.
Amazingly, I just had a hard-hitting, truth-telling paper accepted for a mainstream academic conference: The 3rd Islamophobia and Civil Society Conference to be held in Paris December 11th-12th 2015. To get there, I need about $2,000: $1,300 for airfare (MSN to CDG), $500 for five nights in a cheap Parisian hotel, and $200 for food, metro tickets and so on. (I am staying for five nights, not just two, so I can promote my book We Are Not Charlie Hebdo: http://WeAreNotCharlieHebdo.blogspot.com ).

I need to raise this money as quickly as possible. As I write this, the conference is only about a month away, and airfares will keep going up.
By helping me attend this conference, you'll be sending a message: Keep our universities open to people who are willing to think taboo thoughts and ask the hard questions!
I am eternally grateful to the beautiful generous people who have helped me keep pursuing truth, justice, and freedom of inquiry, even when those values have been banished from the academy.
