Logan Lea Todd, the beautiful and loving 3 year old daughter of Jason and Beth, was diagnosed with High Grade Brain Stem Glioma also known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) on June 1st. It is an incurable brain tumor that has a 6-12 month life expectancy. The only treatment available is radiation for symptom relief. Surgery is not an option for these types of tumors due to their location.

Jason and Beth now have to take off work for the foreseeable future to meet Logan’s needs and beyond the obvious heartbreak of losing their daughter at some point; this horrible illness will be financially devastating to them. We are asking that you donate whatever amount you can so that they can meet their obligations and be able to provide care for Logan without the added stress of worrying about money. Please give generously and love on Logan like she has loved on so many of you.

I am sorry it has taken a few weeks but on behalf of the Logan and Todd families we want to express our deepest appreciation for all that you and so many others did over the last year. We will be sending individual thank you notes over the next few weeks and months but until that happens please accept these words as just a token of what we feel. The outpouring of love and support was one of the most miraculous things I have ever witnessed or been part of. It was because of God's blessings and people like you that Beth, Jason, Miles and the rest of our families were able to get through the last year. The love you gave Logan was as beautiful as any love I have seen expressed. All we can say is "thank you and God bless you".
It was good to see so many of you at the service and for those I didn't get a chance to visit with I know you understand that time was hectic. I am grateful you took the time to come honor Logan's beautiful life. Thank you to all that sent the beautiful flowers and the donations to Make A Wish and Love Your Melon. Thank you all for the food you provided; the gifts for Logan and Miles, the time you gave of yourself so that Jason, Beth and Miles could get out some. Thank you for the cards and notes of encouragement. Thank you for your generosity to the Love on Logan fund!!! We are going to leave the fund open on go fund me until the middle of June. Several people have said they want to still contribute so if you know of anyone who would still like to contribute please encourage them to do so. It is still needed and greatly appreciated. Finally, thank you all for the hugs of support we received since Logan was diagnosed last year! They meant so much!
God bless you!

Logan passed away at 12:50. It was very peaceful and I was fortunate to be holding her hand and talking to her when she left us.
Arrangements will be finalized and I will let you know asap.
I also respectfully ask that if anyone feels as if they would like like to give to the Love on Logan go fund me account it would be gratefully appreciated and needed. Your generosity has gotten them though this but we still want to help them.
Thank you

Update 11

I want to give you an update on Logan. Monday she was admitted to the inpatient hospice faciity so that she could get meds regulated and Jason and Beth could receive more help.
They got her meds regulated and last night she slept for most of the night. This morning she took a downturn and to use the doctors words "she is in the active process of dying". The medication is letting her rest comfortably. Her breathing is labored and she has a lot of chest congestion.
The doctor said she could go today or within the next few days so I can't give much more information than that. Everyone is accepting of the outcome because she has suffered with this horrible tumor and its time for her to rest peacefully. All of our immediate family has been there today and we have said the words we want her to hear before she goes. She has been so brave during this journey.

I brought Miles up this morning to see her but it is so hard for him to comprehend. He just told me he was "sad because my sister is sick".

I will update you when she passes away and have details about funeral plans.
Thank you all for everything you have done and keep us all in your prayers' especially Logan.
God bless
Mike
