I am Margaret Reid owner of Chocpaw Expeditions in South River, ON www.chocpaw.com
As owner of the south river dog sledding company I am retiring after over 40 years of providing dog sledding in the Almaguin area. The business is up for sale and I have been working to find homes for these dogs since the passing of my husband in 2016.
Any contribution to this will go to transport costs for moving the dogs to their new homes and veterinary checks prior to their travel. This will include travel up to 2000km to various locations in Canada and United States, health check at our local veterinary hospital or veterinarians at the location of their arrival.
The money will be withdrawn directly by Margaret Reid and be put toward the welfare of her dogs.
I am forever grateful to the mushing community for their support and generosity throughout this process.
