Save our home

We've lived in a home we have made our own after my single mother bought it for my sister & I after she left our abusive father since 2001. We love our home and community and cannot imagine living or growing up anywhere else but East oakland.

Those who know my mom know she would welcome anyone of my friends in with open arms, whether if you were spending one night or spending a week or more because you had no one else to go. She's the most caring person who always has gone out of her way to make sure her kids are taken care of long before she even thinks about herself. I cannot imagine loosing our home, please help us. This is not an easy thing to do for me but it's worth a try.

In October 2016, we suffered a death in the family and had to contribute financially to the funeral. This resulted in my parents falling two months behind in the mortgage.

Jan 2017 Wells Fargo Representative suggested they pursue a modification, despite having received one in 2016. My parents complied & submitted all the mandated documentation and qualifed based on the document requriements.

In September 2017, Wells Fargo presented the documents to the underwriter and responded within one day with a denial "due to having previously received a modification."

Several attornies have stated "we have a strong case against Wells Fargo for Unfair Business Practice, and can stop the foreclosure." Wells Fargo was aware at the commencement of pursueing the modification that we had previously received a modification and did not qualify. They mislead my parents for several months causing the mortgage to escalate. The lawyer goes on to inform us that "Well Fargo is the largest violators of the California Homeowners Bill of Rights. "

Having conducted my own research I located articles confirming their miscinduct to include being fined for hiring untrained workers. Such as the representative who was assisting me (which changed several times over the course).

The problem is our home is in my uncles name who refuses to cooperate with the lawyer and wants to let our home be foreclosed on.

Please help us save our home. I'd never thought I'd be personally affected and displaced after growing up in Oakland my whole life. We just want to live in our home or 17 years. We don't just live in a house, it's our home, full of love and memories.
