It's hard to believe that I have completed my time in DTS (Discipleship Training School) and served in Cambodia. Thank you for all your prayers and support!!To read my newsletter about my Cambodia experience, click here . It was such a blessing to be among the Cambodian people and culture, now God is moving me right along His path to the next part of the journey.
While living in Cambodia, God really worked on my confidence in being a leader, an area I never felt myself as strong. Over the 2 months I was there, my trust in God began to grow and He helped me to teach children and speak in front of large audiences. These experiences helped me start stepping out more as a leader. During my last week in Cambodia, the Lord showed me that He wants me to continue developing this skill and join
YWAM Charlotte's secondary school called SOLD OUT(School of Leadership Development and Outreach). This school’s objective is to see fully equipped, committed servants launched into full-time ministry. SOLD OUT focuses on helping people grow in personal character and practical skills. This happens through teaching, times of processing and hands-on opportunities, where servant leadership is emphasized. This twelve-week course will prepare us to be on staff in YWAM anywhere around the world as well as in a local church setting.
After the 12 weeks of SOLD OUT, our 5 member Dance Track team from the Discipleship Training School (DTS), has an awesome opportunity to join YWAM Scotland for their annual outreach, called Shine, to minister and perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This is the largest arts festival in the world and millions of people from across the globe travel to experience it. With thousands of people in the streets eager to be entertained, the door is left wide open to share the love of God. They invite churches, youth groups, ministries and YWAM teams from across the globe to come for three weeks and make a lasting impact. During this time we live in community, share meals, and fellowship with each other. In the evenings we go to the streets and preform using all different forms of mediums - music, dance, and art for the glory of God. I'm beyond excited to bring people love and joy though dance! If you feel you would like to donate and help me continue on the path of missions and the schooling that I need, it would be very much appreciated.
