Mr. Burdick Colon Cancer

This is Dennis Burdick, the substitute teacher at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. Mr. Burdick was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. On top of this devastating news, his wife is in need of a kidney transplant. Mr. Burdick generously donates his time to work as a substitute teacher, something that doesn’t get as much recognition as it should. Most students get excited when a substitute teacher is in their classroom because they “don’t have to work as hard” or want to play jokes on them. Not with Mr. Burdick. He’s the nicest guy around. All of his students put their best foot forward when Mr. Burdick is in charge. As a Pinkerton Academy graduate himself, Mr. Burdick’s situation is important to many of us at Pinkerton Academy. A donation of any denomination would be greatly appreciated.
