Dominican Republic Service Trip

Hello friends and family! A quick update on my life right now: I am currently a senior at the University of Washington studying physiology and will graduate this Summer! My plan after graduating from UW is to continue my education in graduate school to become a certified athletic trainer.
As many of you know, I love to travel! I enjoy spending time in new places and meeting people from all kinds of backgrounds. I have always dreamt of traveling to a Spanish-speaking country and this Spring break I finally have the opportunity to! From March 17-25, God has blessed me with the opportunity to go on a mission trip and serve in villages in The Dominican Republic! While there, I will participate in construction projects, and serve Haitian refugee children.
One of my biggest passions in life is spreading love and happiness. I enjoy getting to know people and making them feel that they are worthy and that they belong. God has blessed me with this opportunity, but I cannot do it alone. This is where I turn to you; the beloved people in my life. The cost of this trip is not cheap and I am raising money on my own to fund it.
The last couple years, I have grown so much in my faith. I started going to The Inn, a college worship service at University Presbyterian Church, and have created many deep relationships with the women in my sorority who also live for Jesus. I have always wanted to go on a mission trip but never believed it to be very attainable for me. Although it seems extremely difficult to come up with all the funds, I am putting my trust in God and taking it upon myself to earn the funds by babysitting, doing yardwork, and asking for donations.
Any and all donations would mean so much to me, no matter the amount. All the money raised will go towards funding my trip; from airfare, to vaccinations, to the cost of staying in The Dominican Republic. If you are unable to give financially, I would be grateful for any and all prayers!
