Mission Statement
Bayside H.O.Y.A.S., Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote academic excellence, positive character development, and civic responsibility among secondary school age youth and young adults in Kent and Queen Anne’s counties, Maryland. We work to achieve this mission through educational enrichment, mentoring, leadership training, health promotion, and public service projects with youth of limited opportunities.

We believe that all school aged youth and young adults hould have the resources to achieve their full potential.
Our Motto
“Do your best, be your best."
Our program currently serves over 250 youth on the Eastern Shore where many of the children live below the poverty line.
1.) Transportation- In our rural county transportation is one of the biggest obstacles to over come. Donations would help provide transportation for all community members to and from communtiy service events, cultural field trips and basketball tournaments.
2.) Cultural Fields trips- In helping our youth expand their minds and think outside of their county, we take annually field trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the National Mall, Smithsonian and the Air and Space Muesuem. This year we will visit the new African American History musuem.
3.) Basketball tournaments- This reward is provided to our youth for making a committment to good grades, communtiy service and leadership skills. This sport helps promote team building, life skills, short and long term goals for youth in our county with limited resources for activities.
Any amount donated to our program would be greatly appreciated and would help us continue to support lower-income youth.
