Help for Jaxon

As you all know by this point, my dogs are my entire life. They bring me so much happiness every single day. My oldest, Jaxon, got into something last week and has fallen very ill with what is believed to be colitis (inflammation of colon and large intestine). He is pooping blood and won’t eat/drink on his own. To treat it will require a couple days of hospitalization, IV fluid treatments, anti-nausea, antibiotics, probiotics and intensive care. It’s not fatal if he is fully vetted and taken care of and he will still be able to be here with us for many years. He is 5 years old this June, and dachshunds can live up to 16+ years. I am incredibly embarrassed to even have to ask for help, but I would rather save my dog and swallow my pride. Unfortunately his vet care is not something I can afford by myself right now. I cannot imagine life without my buddy.  If there’s absolutely anything you can do to help, Jax and I would be forever grateful to you for your help.
