Help my sick cat Cleo!!

Donation protected
This past year and Thanksgiving weekend, my beloved 13-year-old Maine coon cat Cleo was diagnosed with diabetes and dangerously high blood sugar. He had to be hospitalized over the weekend get his blood sugar down to a safe level. But the doctors were able to get it lowered and thankfully he does not have any health complications as a result of the diabetes and blood sugar being dangerously high for God only knows how long.

Moving forward to the current time… Cleo his on special diet food and taking insulin with his meals twice a day. It has been a struggle to keep his blood sugar regulated but as of recently it looks like we are starting to finally figure it out, thanks to the help of the good people at the vet clinics and to all who have donated so far. We are not out of the woods as diabetes is a very complex disease to maintain but thankfully we have reason to be optimistic regarding his condition.

Unfortunately his over the weekend stay in November was only the beginning of what has turned out to be very very expensive veterinary bills. And until he is fully regulated these bills will continue to pile up. This is the reason I have this campaign set up

I am a hard-working person and have a regular 40+ hour a week job, but unexpected things like this have made my financial situation very very difficult and strained. My cat is very dear to me and has been a part of my family for a long time. The only thing I'm looking for out of this campaign is help with the financial strain that these medical bills have put me under, not for my own gain but so I can continue to get Cleo the proper treatment he needs to get his blood sugar regulated and to get him healthy again. As the nature of diabetes is very unpredictable. Please help me so I can keep him around and healthy for as long as I possibly can. My greatest fear is Cleo needing immediate medical attention due to his diabetes and me not being able to make that happen.

If you would like more information from me or from the clinic he is getting treated from you can contact me at [phone redacted]. And he gets his treatment at Sherwood south animal hospital +1 (225) [phone redacted] and coursey animal hospital +1 (225) [phone redacted]
