My name is Kasey, and I'm doing this in secret to help my friend pay for renewing her residency in the US. I say renewing residency for a lack of better words, as they way she described it sounded a bit more complicated.

Adriana was born in Mexico and pictured above with the light hair. She is currently a psychology major who, while not knowing her exact career path, knows all she wants in life is to help people. A selfless individual who genuinely cares about the well-being of others, Adriana has worked hard and sacrificed a lot to achieve some position which will allow her to do true good in the world.
Under Trump's Regime, it's now harder for her to renew her residency. Between part-time work, full-time school, and helping to manage her household, the rising costs of staying in the US are doing exactly their job of exploiting those who can't tread the rising water.
Adriana's residency expires in March. The asking amount is roughly what she needs to cover the cost of renewal plus the services of a lawyer to do it for her. She simply does not have this money and is feverishly seeking other options while the clock tics down.
Thus, I'm turning to GoFund me to help save my friend from a very real threat of facing deportation to a country that she does not even remember. She's busted ass to earn everything she has, and doesn't deserve to have her life wrenched away from her.
I feel like what she needs to pay may be too much for one person but can be quickly achieved with support. The amount may go up or down as I try to inconspicuously get more details out of her. Maybe it's a shot in the dark, but anything helps.
