As a firefighter, when that pager sounds we don't expect it to be one of our own, it's a little more personal and hits close to home when it is. Someone you share a meal with at the firehouse, someone you train with every week, the one you see on 2am fire calls. Volunteer Firefighter Garry Meredith and his family lost their entire home to a house fire last night(09/11/2017). Garry is an active member with the Dauphin-Middle Paxton Fire Company. Garry has given many years of service to help people in need and keep them safe from emergencies like the one he and his family experienced last night. It is time for us to give back. The road to recovery, working with insurance, and the salvage will take days, weeks and months if not years. Please, I ask you to help a fellow brother out in his time of need and donate anything possible whether it be $1, $5, and etc.
