Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Francesco Cicchi e sono il fondatore di Ama Aquilone Cooperativa Sociale Onlus (www.ama.coop).
Sulle colline Picene, nella terra di confine tra Marche e Abruzzo, in Italia, ha sede Ama Aquilone.
La Cooperativa gestisce da più di trent’anni strutture che si prendono cura di persone con dipendenze patologiche, madri tossicodipendenti con figli, minori, migranti.
Nessuno di loro paga per essere accolto.
Ama Aquilone porta avanti progetti di inclusione socio-lavorativa destinati a disoccupati, giovani, famiglie e a tutte quelle persone che vivono il dramma delle “nuove povertà”.
Nel 2016 e nel 2017, il nostro territorio è stato colpito da eventi sismici che hanno lasciato dietro di sé una scia di vittime e macerie.
I danni agli edifici sono stati pari a più di 16 miliardi di euro, oltre 2 miliardi di euro quelli al patrimonio culturale.
La tradizione, l’identità locale e il legame con il territorio tentano di sopravvivere a questi tragici eventi.
Ma soprattutto le costruzioni più antiche necessitano di interventi rapidi per evitare crolli improvvisi.
Una di queste, la “Vecchia Casa”, è al centro di Casa Ama, la Comunità Terapeutica più grande della Cooperativa Ama Aquilone.
Un edificio rurale costruito alla fine del 1700, destinato a diventare un suggestivo centro di turismo sociale, per poter permettere a persone provenienti da tutto il mondo di vivere le Bellezze del nostro Paese.
Per donare nuove fondamenta alla “Vecchia Casa”, abbiamo bisogno del tuo aiuto.

Ama Aquilone Social Cooperative NPO headquarters are located in Italy, on the Piceno hills, in the border land between Marche and Abruzzo Region.
The Cooperative has been managing for more than thirty years several structures for pathological addicted patients, single and addicted mothers, minors and migrants.
None of them pays to be accepted.
Ama Aquilone carries out projects of social-labour inclusion aimed at unemployed, young people, families and all those people who live the drama of "new poverty".
In 2016 and 2017, our territory was hit by an earthquake that left behind a trail of victims and rubble.
The damage to buildings amounted to more than 16 billion euros, whose over 2 billion euros to cultural heritage.
Tradition, local identity and the link with the territory try to survive these tragic events.
But above all the older buildings require rapid interventions to avoid sudden collapses.
One of them, the “Vecchia Casa”, is at the centre of “Casa Ama”, the biggest therapeutic community of Ama Aquilone Social Cooperative NPO.
A rural building built at the end of the 18th century, designed to become an evocative centre of social tourism, in order to allow people from all over the world to experience the beauty of our country.
