Visit the Zoo Podcast
The Bottom Line…at the Top--
I'll put the bottom line here on the top line. I produce a weekly podcast called "Visit the Zoo" as additional content from my entire "Visit the Zoo" project of 12 books; Kindle, Print, Audiobooks, DVD, and the podcast. I need financial support to keep this entire "Visit the Zoo" project running.
What is the “Visit the Zoo” Podcast and Who is it For--
Eight million species of animals live among us on this planet yet so few of us have had contact with or know anything about them. That is what the “Visit the Zoo” podcast set out to do…introduce us to the Animal Kingdom. I’ve created this podcast to give you a few facts about the animals and listen to audio clips of what they sound like.
Each episode is structured with a welcome segment and then we dive into animal news from around the world. I offer 5 curated animal stories from news sources with links so you can explore these stories on your own. Then offer a segment for the animal description for each episode with audio tracks of what the animals sounds like. Then on to either a animal poem or joke or short story. The episode is wrapped up with links for access to the zooanimals.com main website as well as my frederickfichman.com author website.
The weekly podcast has been uploaded to iTunes, 13 podcast directories such as Spreaker, Stitcher, Spotify, etc., and host website www.zooanimals.info since the beginning of the “Visit the Zoo” Podcast in November 2017. The podcast continues to this day and will continue...well into the future as long as there are animals in the animal world to talk about.
Why the Pitch for Financial Support--
What also has continued are the costs that I have incurred producing this podcast to pay for the research, writing, narration, production, editing, hosting, marketing, and distribution costs. It all adds up from week to week and month to month. Hosting costs have increased recently and we’ve added new features to supplement the podcast like a full line “Visit the Zoo” apparel and gear. This podcast is free to anyone and everyone. I am getting about 1,000 downloads, and growing, per month, from a total of 18 countries, and growing around the world.
Fact is, I need financial help producing these fascinating educational tools geared for children and young adults but accessible to all. I need financial help to continue at the level of delivery I am committed to. I love providing this free service, producing audio media content in podcast form about the animal world.
Down to the Numbers--
$1,000 per month, a $12,000 per year goal is what I am hoping for to continue this podcast and all things "Visit the Zoo."
I hope you are an animal lover, or pet owner, or just someone interested in nature and wildlife. I hope you have children who would love to hear about our animal neighbors. I hope you are interested in hearing the latest animals news, trying to guess animal sounds, listening to full animal descriptions, and reflecting on poems and quotations from famous people about the animals they love.
If so, I would appreciate your financial help so I can continue delivering this weekly content.
