Virginia Family Displaced by Storm

On Friday, March 2, our friends' home in Stafford, Virginia was practically destroyed when a large tree fell on it during the historic wind storm encountered by our region. Donnie, Catherine and their children are physically ok, but the family has been displaced for what may be a lengthy period of time. Any assistance for this wonderful family in their greatest time of need is appreciated. More information is available in the news report linked below:

"If his 4-year-old son, Anthony, had been sleeping in his bedroom Thursday night, he wouldn’t be alive today, Stafford resident Donnie Merrix said. Yesterday’s heavy winds caused a tree to fall on the roof of Merrix’s house off Mountain View Road in Stafford at about 6:15 a.m."
