Village of Medina Dog Park

The Friends of the Dog Park committee is raising money to build the Village of Medina Dog Park. The park will be located at 260 South Gravel Road in Medina, next to what was the village compost building. It will consist of 3 fenced in areas; one for small dogs, large dogs, and agility. This park will allow a large public place for dogs to not only exercise, but work on training and social skills. This will be the first public dog park in Orleans county and we hope that it will also bring in visitors or even future residents, which will help boost the local economy. While it is our hope to have the park up and running at some point this summer, our ability to make that happen will depend on how quickly we are able to raise the funds. Please follow our Facebook page "Medina Dog Park Project" for additional information and other fundraising methods, events, and volunteer opportunities that will be coming up. Please keep in mind that gofundme does keep a percentage of your donation, so if possible, a check is preferable. Checks are to be made out to "Village of Medina Dog Park" and can be dropped off or mailed to the village clerks office at 119 Park Ave Medina, NY 14103.
