Vieques Hurricane Relief

Donation protected
On Wednesday, September 20th, the island of Vieques was devistated by Hurricane Maria.  Vieques is part of Puerto Rico and is located 10 miles off of the eastern coast of the main island.  Vieques is home to 9,000 people and is only accessible via boat or small airplane.

Earlier this year, Andy Sharpeta and his family left their home and moved to Vieques, answering God's call on their lives to tell the people of Puerto Rico about Jesus Christ. Very recently they started Vieques Baptist Church.

Donations received here will be deposited directly into the Sharpetas' ministry fund account.  They have lines of credit open with many business in Puerto Rico and need funding to continue and further their support to the people on the island of Vieques.  These funds will be used to buy life-sustaining provisions for those in shelters, hospitals, and the community at large.

Vieques currently has no lines of communication besides a few satellite phones.  There is no electricity and no running water.  This community desperately needs basic provisions to survive.
