Help us grow our community based vertical farms.

First Light Project's - Victory V Farm is launching a mini pilot project located within a food pantry warehouse in North Philadelphia.

We have been challenged to raise $30,000 to kick-off this mini pilot. Your donation, no matter the size will help us reach that goal.

Together we can plant the seeds from which a full farm will blossom.

Together we can plant the seeds that grow community capacity and resilience.

What is a vertical farm?  It’s an indoor growing operation that grows hydroponically – in water fortified with nutrients, in multiple vertical tiers, using high efficiency LED lights.

We use no pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers – because food safety is important to us and to you.

We will be growing leafy greens that are healthy, fresh, nutritious and affordable.

Our farms will be housed in under-used buildings throughout Philadelphia.

Why now?   Because feeding urban populations is a pressing 21st century challenge.

We are using tested technology innovatively at a local scale.

We are working with technical partners across the country and across the globe to bring the best ideas to our city.

Why now?   Because people in Philadelphia go hungry every day.
We invite you to join us in planting the seeds of neighborhood revitalization in this community we love by donating today.

Please share our vision with your network.

We invite you to check out our website.

We are so very close to beginning our mini-pilot indoor farm within a local Philly food pantry's massive warehouse, but we need your help to push us over our goal.
Make a donation, every little bit helps and then pass this along to your network of family, friends and colleagues so that we can begin to grow leafy greens for Philly - 365 days of the year.
Let's see if we can close the gap ASAP!!!
