Victor's Thyroid Cancer Fund

My friend Victor was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. This news has been especially difficult because only several months ago he lost his aunt to a battle with leukemia. Victor’s papillary thyroid carcinoma has metastasized or spread to his lymph nodes already. The fortunate news is that with treatment his prognosis is favorable; with medical intervention his chances of survival are high. He will need to have surgery in conjunction with hormone therapy, radioactive iodine therapy and may even have to undergo chemotherapy. Unfortunately, my friend recently left his job that he had medical coverage with and is no longer in the special enrollment period where he can get coverage once again. Of course this means that treatment will have to paid for out of pocket. Cancer treatment is costly and time is truly of the essence when dealing with something of this nature. I am appealing to all of you, friends, family, strangers, please help out a dear friend of mine and one of the best people I know.
