Junto con nuestros padres estamos muy agradecidos por su sensibilidad y por su interés en la situación de nuestro hermano menor, Víctor Pantin. A Víctor se le han hecho dos trasplantes de riñón (1995/ 2015). En ambos casos los donantes fueron dos de nosotros (Oscar y Valentina), lo que ha conmovido no sólo a nuestra familia, sino a su equipo médico, amigos y personas que han conocido su historia de lucha y amor por la vida.
Víctor tiene 46 años, está casado, con tres hijos. Es cultivador de orquídeas, oficio con el que, junto a Gaby su esposa, logran mantener modestamente a su familia.
Debido a la profunda crisis socio-económica que atraviesa Venezuela, es difícil conseguir los medicamentos necesarios para trasplantados. Anteriormente, estas medicinas de alto costo, las otorgaba con regularidad el IVSS (Instituto Venezolano de los Seguros Sociales).
Aunque la salud de Víctor todavía es buena, si no se consiguen las medicinas para garantizar que no rechace el riñón trasplantado, nuestro hermano estaría condenado a muerte.
Si bien tenemos los medios para conseguir las medicinas fuera del país, no contamos con los recursos económicos necesarios para adquirirlas y por eso acudimos a ustedes.
Nuestra meta es recaudar lo suficiente para cubrir el costo de sus medicinas y eventuales exámenes para los próximos tres años. Actualmente, el costo anual aproximado de sus medicinas (Prograf 1mg y Rapamune 1mg) es de 5100 dólares.
Nuestro sobrino Esteban Díaz Pantin cariñosamente se ofreció a recibir y administrar los fondos de la campaña para poder comprar las medicinas en el exterior.

Together with our parents we are very grateful for your sensitivity and interest in the situation of our youngest brother, Victor Pantin.
Victor has had two kidney transplants (1995/2015). In both cases, the donors were two of us (Oscar and Valentina), which has moved not only our family, but his medical team, friends and people that have known his story of fight and love of life.
Victor is 46 years old, he is married with three children. He is an orchid grower, which allows him and his wife Gaby to modestly support their family.
Due to the deep economic and social crisis in our country Venezuela, it is very difficult to find and/or buy the necessary medicines for transplanted patients. Previously, these high cost medicines were provided by the Venezuelan social security institution (IVSS).
Although Victor’s health is still good, if we cannot source his medicines to guarantee his body does not reject the transplanted organ, he would be condemned to death.
Whilst we can secure the logistical means to obtain these medicines outside Venezuela, we cannot afford them, which is why we are reaching out to you.
Our target is to raise enough funding to cover the cost of his medicines and medical tests for the next three years. Currently, the approximate annual costs of his medicines (Prograf 1mg and Rapamune 1mg) is $5100.
Our nephew Esteban Díaz Pantin graciously offered himself to accept and administer the campaign funds to buy the medicines abroad.
