Veteran and victim of the government shutdown

I am a veteran and employee suffering from the ongoing government shutdown.  The unfortunate part about my situation is that because my position is deemed “essential” I still have to work without being paid, thus making it impossible to be able to find work elsewhere to supplement my income and take care of my family. I am a single father of two with a son that is in college. Also to add to this trying time anyone that knows me knows my father is very sick due to acute kidney failure and acquiring a rare condition called Calciphylaxis. Although my immediate family has been helping me they can only do so much as they are dealing with my fathers condition and the cost of health care. Please find it in your heart to donate.
