Legal Name Change

As many of you know, I’ve taken several steps in my transition and they have been costly but one that is just as important is my name change. Most people call me by my preferred name and pronouns but when applying for jobs or after getting a job, all documentation pertaining to me is in a name I don’t use. When I get stopped by the police, I go from ma’am to sir, because of the name on my liscense. Thankfully I’ve not yet faced any violence because of this but it is a safety concern. I feel silly even asking for help but it’s money I just simply don’t have for something that is very important.
