Hernandez Family- Flood Relief
We could use help with cleaning supplies, paper towels, plastic tubs for storage, industrial size wet vac and bottled water. Asking family and friends for assistance in electrical, carpentry, drywall, tile work and light/heavy equipment due to large debris throughout the property.
With grateful hearts,
Thomas, Ernest (Annabelle), Cande Jr., Peter (Angela), Charlie (Rose) and Susana (Cedric)

Oh my God, You know my weakness and failings, and that without Your help I can accomplish nothing for the good of souls, my own and others’. Grant me, therefore, the help of Your grace. Grant it according to my particular needs this day. Enable me to see the task You will set before me in the daily routine of my life, and help me work hard at my appointed tasks. Teach me to bear patiently all the trials of suffering or failure that may come to me today. Amen
Mom and Dad seem to be a little more of themselves. Mom actually joked with us on a few occasions. It was nice to see her smile and hear her laugh.
Gotta keep moving forward. We got this! We couldn't do it with out friends and family!

Please do not drive your vehicle to the house. Instead, park your cars at the park up the road. We ask that you not block the road or entrance at anytime. You will see cars parking facing the exit. We need to do this in case the river should rise unexpectedly.
Wear closed toe shoes and gloves. If you have a chainsaw and/or chains, bring them. There is a lot of debris to clean.
Be vigilant of snakes! We have spotted several.
Thanks in advance!!
Samaritan's Purse has been a gift from God. A true blessing to our family. Please take a minute to read the article and watch the video they did about our family.
At the end of the day you could see a little weight lifted off of our shoulders. We're not done yet. Not even close, but we're better off than the days before.
We begin this morning in hopes to make another dent in this huge project. Please pray for nice weather, a cool breeze and everyone's safety.
Thank you to our cousins and friends who have come by to help and have brought food. We couldn't have gotten this far without you. We've had a few long days and have worked so much. There is still so much to do.
We will be cleaning the remainder of the home, storage sheds and hopefully begin clearing the land of debris. For those who would like to help, please come over! Wear pants, gloves and closed toe shoes. Please bring a face mask or handkerchief.
