More great news from Salt Lake, Steve continues to see progress on his battle! In his last lab report, his cancer markers were reading 50% less than what they were when he started! His PSA continues to go down as well! He started with a PSA above 8 and he is now at 4.9. From all the great progress Steve, Pattie and their family are happy with the treatment plan. Steve did have a reaction to part of the chemo treatment last week but doctors will continue with the same treatment in two weeks, but only after they increase his nausea medicine and fill him full of Benadryl. He will get another scan during his next treatment which will dictate if his treatment will change in the future. Steve is hopeful that if things continue in the direction they are moving he will move into more of a maintenance treatment schedule which will mean more time in between treatments. Thank you to everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated!
Great news from Salt Lake, "I am walking on clouds tonight after seeing the doctor today. He informed me that the large tumor in my liver had shrunk in volume by 30% and the small ones had become smaller yet. Also the tumor in my colon is almost gone (WOW!) that was welcome news. My blood work was awesome as well so, all in all, it was a very good day for the Vezina family."
Steve also shared that the last couple of weeks have been very special to him and his family. Thank you everyone for the hard work and support at the talent show and the silent auction. Please continue sending positive energy and prayers! Game Day...No Surrender!

Steve and Patty: It was so nice to meet you and have lunch in SLC while we were there with Brad. We continue to be amazed at your Spirit and upbeat attitude. We also continue to pray for a miracle--but hearing you say Jesus is your Savior was the real music to our ears. With Him you can't lose no matter what. The battle rages on but the war has been won! Our best to you and Patty--the time spent with you was so uplifting--we were blessed!! Marvin and Pat Miller
Steve- thinking about you and your family all the time.
