Homeless Veterans Housing Project Branson, Mo.
We are an up coming organization with goals of helping assist homeless veterans obtain transitional housing here in the Branson, Missouri area and
free themselves from the harsh elements and find financial stability that leads to more permanent housing.
We need your help and support in meeting our goals of assisting the homeless veterans obtain a step up in life from having to live on the streets to
actually having a temporary place to call their own while receiving goal oriented counseling, work stability and financial freedom.
Hello my name is Richard Anderson, I am a Navy veteran that served during the post Vietnam era. I have a great interest in helping these homeless
veterans that are on the Branson streets better themselves through a stern program that offers them a progressively better life style under roof with counseling and guidance to become financially independent and transition into permanent housing. Patty Branen and I have longed to assist the less
fortunate somehow, but have never had the opportunity to do so until now. We need your help to see it through the beginning stages and make it a
reality among the streets we travel daily in Branson, Missouri.
We need not only financial assistance but structural assistance as well. One of our first goals is to form an organization here in the Branson area that reflects upon the constructive placement and growth of a non-profit corporation to fulfill the need of assisting these homeless veterans. Patty and I
are intelligent enough to start up a non-profit organization, but we know that there are many things needed to properly grow that corporation in light of all the laws and codes within our local, state and federal governments and the Internal Revenue Service. Therefore, we need people that have the
education and experience in running a non-profit organization to join us in our march to end homelessness among military veterans on our streets in
Branson, Missouri. This organized team of people within our communities about the Branson, Missouri area will be sought out to assist us in our goal of raising the funds needed to form and start our non-profit organization that will assist and work to end the homeless veterans problem we currently face.
We will be coming out to meet as many individuals and groups as possible to form this organization we direly need. I am sorry if I offend you but
when I served my country, I served it under God. God has been with me daily since as far back as I can remember, but I was saved under his grace on
August 19, 1969 and it is because of God that this organization has been placed upon me and Patty to get started here in beautiful Ozarks Branson,
Missouri area.
Please join us in our fight to end homelessness among our military veterans. We need your support and guidance to becoming a reality for a good
cause right here at home. I am manager at a local lodge that would make the perfect location for such transitional housing. God has placed this in our laps at a time we did not see it coming. Therefore, we need as much guidance as we need financial assistance in making this a reality. We will work
our tails off for you to see that everything that needs to be done gets done. Help us help others whom God shines upon for a reason.
The funds raised are to be set out for use in reaching three main areas of interest. First funds will be needed to set up and maintain a non-profit
corporation that works to assist homeless veterans obtain transitional housing from off the streets of Branson, Missouri and into a program offering assistance not to exceed two years while in transition from homelessness to more permanent housing. Second funds will be needed to secure a
property that can be functionally based to house homeless veterans while working with the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Veterans
Administration (VA) in assisting homeless veterans secure rents to the property for the cause of transitioning homeless veterans from off the street
into temporary housing and programs that will build their ability to become financially independent. Finally funds will be needed to secure on site
counselors in the fields of mental health, goal orientation and employment for the homeless veterans to achieve the ultimate goal of obtaining
permanent housing. Note: This goal of $150,000 has been reduced from the previous goal of $300,000 due to a more realistic understanding of
what will be needed to get this organization rolling, however, it is estimated and not exact, therefore, there may be additional cost.

Thank you.
